Jacob has been the Owner and President of Tenant Contractors since 2013 when he purchased the company from long time owner, Bill Griffin. Previously to purchasing Tenant Contractors, Jacob worked as a Project Manager and Estimator for the company since 2006 and has 20 years in the construction industry.
A University of Florida graduate, Jacob earned his bachelor degree in Agriculture Operations Management. While earning his degree, Jacob owned and operated his own construction company to put himself through college. Jacob earned his Certified General Contractor License in the State of Florida.
With multiple years of construction experience, Jacob achieved the knowledge and experience to run a successful construction company. Positions held include Project Management, Estimating, Operations, Field, Safety, Business Development, and Marketing. Completely projects in both the residential and commercial sectors have evolved Jacob into the well-rounded, knowledgable, and highly skilled General Contrator he is today.
As Owner and President of Tenant Contractors, Jacob manages all departments of the company. He oversees all projects, contracts and subcontracts, invoicing, and scheduling to ensure the company is exceeding our client’s expectations. He meets with members of his staff to ensure all operations are meeting the needs of the busuiness and our clients needs.
The mission statement Jacob created when purchasing the company is the commitmant he has made to operate Tenant Contractors. The Tenant team are his most valuable assests. Jacob believes in a staff that hold similar values as their mission statement; safety, customer service, positive attitutes, and dedication to the completion of exceptional projects to exceed our clients needs.
Outside of the office, Jacob loves spending time with his wife and children. He enjoys the outdoors, fishing, and hunting. As a UF alum, he never misses a chance to watch the Florida Gators play.
